I have personnally experienced the support of Halliburton/B&R. in Iraq. The food served to Army troops is from an entirely different table than that served to the alphabet soup troops, CIA, DIA, FBI, etc. etc. etc. When I requested nutritious breakfasts for my soldiers, I was told to "suck it up." As for showers and other facilities, they simply did not exist for troops. These facilites were quickly established for the civilian employees on a nearby staging area.
Our troops, however were expected to protect all the highly paid civilian employees, sometimes with their lives.
Profitteering has always followed war, however it does not have to continue.

30 + years ago I heard a lecturer {I forgot his name} say "War is money-If you want to make lots of money-You NEED A BIG WAR-AND TO HAVE a BIG WAR-you need a STRONG enemy- AND TO HAVE A STRONG ENEMY - well, that is going to cost you. He has backed the Democrats before, but is hesitent now. He needs to call an international forum to discuss how we can bring this awful war to an end now. Get rational name participants such as Sen. George Mitchell, King Abdullah, Isreal's Foreign Minister and the Lebanese such as Egypt, Quatar, Kuwait, etc.
I want to see this but can't make it in Philly at 6:00. Will it be shown again here?
